Spitfire S-200 series designer aluminium entrance door
For this project, our customers wanted a new contemporary aluminium entrance door that would improve both thermal performance and home security. After discussing the options with the client, they agreed that a Spitfire aluminium entrance door would be the perfect solution.
The Spitfire S-200 is often referred to as ‘The Best Aluminium Door in Europe’. This is, indeed, a bold claim, but it is a claim that is backed up with evidence of its outstanding performance rating, sleek aesthetics, and capacity for customisation.
Spitfire S-200 aluminium entrance doors are available in 60 different door designs. They can be specified with a range of marine grade powder coat finishes and incorporate a high security multi-point dead lock locking system with optional electric day latch into the design.

For this entrance door enhancement project, our clients had certain criteria that they wanted their new entrance door to meet. We worked closely with our clients to design the perfect door for their home. Their new Spitfire entrance door incorporated the following features into the door’s design:
- 1300 CNC groove door style
- Satin glass panels with clear lines
- Ice Touch door finish
- RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey textured outer frame
- RAL 9005 Black square pull bar handle
- Winkhaus 5-point locking mechanism with electric day latch
- Standard low threshold
- Inward opening configuration
To complete the installation, we also supplied and installed matching side lights with Anthracite Grey frame and satin glass panels.
