Proud to Play a Small Part in a Life-Changing Community Project
We were proud to support the DIY SOS: Homes for Veterans project in Newton Heath, Manchester, a large-scale initiative to transform an area into a dedicated village for armed forces veterans. The project brought together local trades, suppliers, and volunteers, all working towards a shared goal: creating safe, high-quality homes for those who have served.

Project Overview
As part of a wider appeal for local businesses to contribute, we were invited to assist with the installation of uPVC French doors within the development. While our role formed just one piece of a much larger scheme, it was an opportunity to contribute to something that would have a lasting impact on people’s lives.
The Solution
We supplied and installed Liniar sculptured uPVC French doors, designed to provide a balance of:
- Security
- Energy efficiency
- Everyday usability

- A consistent, high-quality finish across the properties
While our contribution formed a small part of the overall project, we were proud to play a role in delivering homes that will support the local veteran community for years to come.

A Project That Meant More
Projects like this go beyond day-to-day installations.
Being involved in a nationally recognised initiative like DIY SOS highlights the impact that the industry can have when businesses come together to support meaningful causes.
It’s something we’re incredibly proud to have been part of.
